Kay Talley - Kay has been a friend of mine since we were in Jr. High School!  She started painting this past Fall of 2001.  She likes to paint Impressionist flowers on large canvas, but has done some nice things for gifts for people including a screen painting on a hand made door and painted on a birdhouse.  She has plans for many different projects. Kay likes to paint abstracts.    It was always a  lot of fun having Kay in my class!

This was a grouping of paintings that Kay
painted to match her comforter in her bedroom.  These were done in acrylics in a soft watercolor style.

Dori Saladino - Dori has been a painter for many years.  She was an oil painter when she started classes here  years ago.  She now does most things in Acrylics.  Her specialty would be old barns and buildings from the past.  She does beautiful work on saws, wood, and anything that has a paintable surface.  Now that she and her husband Gus have a 5th wheel trailer, she is on the road to see the grandchildren in Texas or up north to visit the relatives.  She always comes back with another project or inspired in some way!  Dori has been up to paint with me in Kendall.  They go to Adams/Friendship alot, so I hope to see more of her!

Joan Wilson - Joan has been painting for quite a few  years now..  She has a lot of natural talent and is very disciplined at what she does.  She likes to choose challenging subject matter. She is developing into a very fine painter. Joan does lots of painting at home, so gets more practice in than most.  She is painting more things at a time now and that is a very good sign.  Now when Joan and her husband Jerry go on trips, she takes pictures with her camera and comes home and paints from the pictures!!  She was a lot of fun to have in my class and is a good friend.  Joan has been to see me in Kendall!

This painting is of Rotary Gardens in Janesville, Wi
Joan's Husband works there in the Gardens.
Jerry does beautiful wood working and made the frame too.

Eileen Hardy -  Eileen is a china painter who likes to paint many things.  She started with flowers, but recently brought in a most interesting project!  She is doing some little cups with a pattern off of a cup that survived a fire in the 1930's when her father's house burned!!  It is really a special project to her heart.  She is a member of Blackhawk China Painters.
