Marlene Meyers -  Marlene joined my class after retirement.  She decided she needed a creative outlet and always wanted to paint.  She is especially interested in painting portraits.  She is a very intense student and catches on very quickly.  Marlene takes direction very well and is a great person to have around.  She spoils my little dogs and remembers to bring them treats.  She is the only one who can get close to my little Michael.  She has been to Kendall to paint with me several times.  She never runs out of ideas for painting good work.  Marlene's son just completed a movie!  She got to go to the premiere and was able to experience something most of us always wanted but could never do!

Shirley Neblock - Shirley has been an oil painter for many years.  When Shirley started painting with me, so switched to Acrylics.   She loved to paint large canvas paintings with covered bridges and landscapes.  Mountains were a favorite of hers also.  She did most of her work with other people in mind as gifts!!  What a good person she was.  .Sadly Shirley passed away in June of 2005 and is missed by all of us who were blessed with her presence!

Janet Kapraun -   She is a most special person with a great desire to learn all there is about "china painting"!  Jan is a member of Blackhawk China Club.  She loves to try different things including glass lamp painting.   She is really painting some beautiful pieces.
 


Gary Dencker- Gary is a really dedicated painter.  He paints mostly from pictures that he takes and has painted some beautiful work.  He has a natural ability and takes instruction very well.  I really enjoyed working with Gary.  He is very determined,  and always comes through with quality work.  Gary came to Kendall and painted and I look forward to seeing him again soon.
